Borderlands 2 Makes Its Way To Shelves This September
I can't wait to loot 50 versions of the same gun and love every minute of it!

I don't know if I had a better co-op experience this generation than Borderlands. Things just clicked and it was a blast to play with my buddies online as well as with my friends and S.O. on the couch. Sure, it got aggravating at times when I was trying to get a specific weapon or with how ridiculous some bosses could be but the humor, style, and overall game was a blast. To say I am eagerly anticipating Borderlands 2 would be a massive understatement.
“The addictive gameplay and shooting and looting mayhem of the first Borderlands is back and better than ever in Borderlands 2, taking the franchise to an entirely new level,” said Christoph Hartmann, president of 2K. “With more guns, more enemies, more missions, an engaging story and all-new characters, Borderlands 2 promises to bring a new era to gaming this fall.”
Well, this will be a late birthday present for me, but 2K and Gearbox have announced that Borderlands 2 will be released on September 18. If you pre-order from participating retailers you'll get access to the game's Premiere Club. This comes with all sorts of perks including the Gearbox Gun Pack, a Golden Key and the Vault Hunter’s Relic. The gun pack comes with a collection of unique guns, the key is used to unlock a rare item in the mysterious Golden Sanctuary Loot Chest, and the relic is a luck item that boosts fortunes in the game.
“Borderlands 2 is a passion project, through and through,” said Randy Pitchford, President of Gearbox Software. “The result is a sequel that has improved every successful aspect of Borderlands while innovating with an all-new experience.”
