XSEED Games Unveils New Sumioni: Demon Arts Boss and Enemy Details
We are scarred. And scared.

Sure, we've given you some of the gory details on Sumioni: Demon Arts already. First we game you a few story details. Then we highlighted some of the interesting tidbits about the environments. Now XSEED has unveiled the details surrounding the bosses and enemies.
If you haven't seen the art style yet, check out our screenshots and you'll notice a lot of similarities to Okami. That gorgeous ink-drawn style should look stunning on the Vita screen (did you know Sumioni translates as "ink demon"?) as you'll see every little line detail.
One of the enemies you'll encounter in the game is known as The Pagoda. As in, a pagoda full of bad guys out to get you. Pagodas might have archers and swordsman, or they might have cannons and saw blades. Those are some crazy pagodas! You'll have to use the Vita touchscreen to draw platforms and avoid the dastardly attacks!
You know what seems scary? Evil eyeballs! I know if I saw one I'd pee myself. Thankfully Agura (you) isn't so scared, but he'll still need to quickly lay down brush strokes (swipes on the screen) to avoid the deadly gaze of the beast! Worse yet is the enormous Ogre, aka "The God Of Misfortune" (as in YOUR misfortune for coming across him). He might be slow, but you'll still have to be quick to stay away from his punishing attacks.
Sure, the whole things sounds a little... Japanese, but it looks so good we don't really care how off the wall it might be. It probably all makes sense if you know the mythology. Look for more details on Sumioni as it gets closer to release!
