I've not felt this attachement to a movie in many many years. What did you guys think of Avatar?

My movie top 5 of the year:

1. Avatar
2. District 9
3. Watchmen
4. Zombieland
5. Hangover

Sadly I'd rather wait for Avatar to show up on blu-ray.

But I did see a few movies this year and I'd have to say that District 9 is definitely one of the top movies but I think Inglorious Basterds eeks out on top by just a bit more.

I was also surprised by how much G.I. Joe didn't suck as bad as it could've.

Transformers 2 was better than I expected as well.

Watchmen was good as a comic book adaptation but it was a mistake to watch that in the theater with my mum.

I want to see Hangover and Zombieland.

the only movies i saw in a theater this year were watchmen and harry potter. both were pretty good.

i probably won't see avatar.

Seriously, missing this one would be a huge mistake! Go watch it in 3D now, I promise to you that you will not be disappointed.

I'm having a hard time thinking of which movies came out this year that I actually saw. District 9, however, is on my list for sure.

A movie that (I think) came out this year that I forgot to mention is Brüno. Sacha Baron Cohen for president, yay..

What movies are you most looking forward to this year? I definitely can't wait to see hit girl kick some butt in Kick-Ass.

didn't see Zombieland, actually. Looked okay but never got around to it.
